Good to know

Your room or suite will be available to you from 3 pm on the day of your arrival and until 12 pm on the day of your departure. If you arrive early or leave late, our front desk team will be happy to look after your luggage for you.

Arosa is easily reached by both public transport and by car.

By car

From ZURICH take the A3 motorway to CHUR.
Take the CHUR-NORD exit in the direction of "Zentrum, Arosa".
Follow the signs to Arosa.

From the SAN BERNARDINO Pass take the A13 to CHUR.
Take the CHUR-SÜD exit in the direction of "AROSA".
Follow the signs to Arosa.

By rail

Travel by ICE or IC trains direct to CHUR. From CHUR an Arosa Express train to AROSA runs every hour during daytime. Let us know your arrival time and we will be more than happy to pick you up from the train station. For timetables visit sbb.ch.

By air

Fly to Zurich-Kloten International Airport. Our Concierge will be happy to organise a limousine transfer to AROSA for you. Alternatively, take the train to CHUR, then connect with the Arosa Express directly to Arosa. We will be happy to pick you up from the station.

Bikes
Mountainbikes are available free of charge during summer and electrical hard-trail bikes for a surcharge of CHF 40 for the day. You may pick them up at reception.

Bike Storage Room
To store your luggage, we offer you a special bike storage room which you can find next to the tennis hall. You can open the storage room with you room key.

Bike washing station
This station is located on the left side of the tennis hall and can be used free of charge to clean your bike.

• Your reservation can be cancelled free of charge up to 7 days before you arrive during the winter season. We will then charge 100% of the total booked price. This also applies to no-shows and delayed arrivals or early departures.
• Your reservation can be cancelled free of charge up to 3 days before you arrive during the summer season. We will then charge 100% of the total booked price. This also applies to no-shows and delayed arrivals or early departures.
• A special cancellation policy applies over the festive period.

We will of course make every effort to resell the room so that there will be no cancellation fees. However, if the room cannot be resold, we reserve the right to charge 100% of the total amount.

For group reservations, separate booking and cancellation conditions apply.

Travel cancellation insurance

You can charge your electric car. We have two charging stations in our parking garage and two charging stations outdoors. Please contact the reception directly.

We will be happy to prepare our sofa beds for you in the Junior Suite room category and above. For an additional adult, we charge CHF 97 per person and children up to and including three years of age can stay free of charge and we provide a free cot in every room category. We charge CHF 45.00 per child and night for children aged between 4 and 11 years.

Christmas/New Year

For New Year's Eve bookings, a minimum stay of 7 nights applies. Your reservation over the festive season can be cancelled free of charge up to 61 days before arrival. Should we receive a cancellation from the 60th day before arrival, we will charge 100% of the booked arrangement price. For bookings during the festive season, 100% advance payment of the arrangement is due. The deposit must be paid within the agreed period, otherwise the hotel may freely dispose of the rooms. We kindly ask you to send us a deposit of the total amount to our account up to 60 days before arrival.

Holiday season in February

A minimum stay of seven nights applies to bookings during high season in February. Your reservation can be cancelled free of charge up to 21 days before you arrive. If we receive a cancellation from 20 days before the arrival date onwards, we will charge 100% of the booked promotion price.

The hotel reserves the right to set aside a certain number of rooms for specials. This means that rooms may no longer be available for the package of your choice. Unclaimed services cannot be reimbursed. The hotel accepts no liability for external services provided by third parties. Furthermore, packages cannot be cumulated with each other.

Depending on availability, we have a few outdoor parking spaces, which are free of charge. If you prefer a garage space, you can book in advance for CHF 20 in winter and CHF 12 in summer per night and car. Further parking spaces are available by the Obersee lake (outdoor car park, a five-minute walk from the hotel) or in the Ochsenbühl area (public car park in Arosa, a three-minute walk away).

Please note that we need your credit card details to guarantee your booking. Be assured that we will not charge your credit card.

The pictures of the different room types are only examples for the style and the size of the category. There can be a variation on allotment in the hotel due to different colours and the layout of the individual rooms.

The Valsana Hotel Arosa is a non-smoking hotel. Smoking is permitted on the balconies and the sun terrace.
